Mobile slurry separator

It’s allrite having a mobile separator etc but it’s like you need another lagoon to put the separated stuff into tho, electric would be better than any mechanical or hydraulic less grease nipples,no pipes bursting

Interesting they all use electricity as the power source rather than mechanical or hydraulics.

Cheaper to run?

Easier to control, and install, cost of hydraulics would be massive, and separators would need to be special builds.

There’s a Distrimex built unit in Holland now with 20 Bauer 855 separators on board feeding a 300 m3/hr plus umbilical rig !!!!!

How much less liquid volume do you end up with once seperated? If youve slurry at 5%dm, do you only decrease volume by the 5%.
Not an easy question to answer perhaps?

At home here we seperate the undecover slurry ,plus parlour /dairy washings , usually ever other day
The reception tank holds approximately 3000 galls that gets processed, and we end up with approx 2600 gallons of seperated liquid in a 3300 gallon tank and a full 7 cubic yard rotaspreader full of dry fraction .
It never fails to amaze me just how fluffy and like damp hair , sawdust, the sererted muck is !!
Not sure if that answers your question in any way , but this will depend on how much yard water gets into a store and how thin the slurry is ? Diet may be a factor although that shouldn't vary a great deal ?
I am sure a resident thread watcher , versed in these things , will tell you shortly !!
