50 to 120 m3 per hour depending on slurry consistency.
Thanks
What type of machine have you , I’m in Ireland and I’m thinking of doing something like yourselfBased near Gretna Green and will travel within 50 miles. 07980837245

I’d consider it if we had a quiet spell here. Call or WhatsApp to discuss.don’t suppose you actually meant to type 250 miles?

With solids set at about 18%dm i’d say about 8/9 ton on roughly.I know every farm is different but what sort of tonnes of solids would you expect from 100m3 of slurry?
You'll be lucky to start from scratch for less than 120k and running cost mount up at 15kwh of electricI can’t help but think it’s cheaper to just put a seperator in yourself for circa 40/50 grand.
contractor is going to charge well up over a pond or two a cube if output is only 50/100 cube an hour, don’t take long to stack the figures up there that in 3/4 years you’ve paid for one…!
But if you only want to pull some solid out when spreading in the spring/summer to reduce contamination on grass aftermaths?I can’t help but think it’s cheaper to just put a seperator in yourself for circa 40/50 grand.

And from what I hear you quickly become a ninja with a set of spanners and a pressure washer maintaining/repairing the damn things. You'll be lucky to start from scratch for less than 120k and running cost mount up at 15kwh of electric
We put in a Bauer screw press seperator year before last for sub 50k including ground works building the bunker all pipe works pumps etc! You'll be lucky to start from scratch for less than 120k and running cost mount up at 15kwh of electric
its probably more efficient to have direct drive straight from the motors rather than various gearboxes to try & get the power to where its needed. Then you’ve got the fact it‘s just a cable rather than various shafts etc. Easier to route & less maintenance. Less bearings, greasing etc.
It doesn’t make sense to me regards a generator running to turn the motors on the separators, surely driving them direct off the engine would be more efficient?
But the separators aren’t direct drive, they’ve reduction gearboxes.its probably more efficient to have direct drive straight from the motors rather than various gearboxes to try & get the power to where its needed. If anyone has a good deal on acid please let me know. Since Covid the price has been out of reach for usHave you looked at the acidification of the separated slurry or is it not viable at this stage?
