Modern version of steam ploughing

A big Fergie got stuck in the other day near us, and it defeated another big Fergie and a Deere trying to pull it out. Cue the local Field Marshall and winch, which pulled it straight out without breaking into a sweat. It got me thinking about ploughing by winch. Somewhere I have all the figures for steam ploughing in Gt grandad's notebook . I'll see if I can find them.
Had that last winter borrowed a JD 6600 that wouldn't start in the cold so used our David Brown that got stuck so winched it out with the field marshall.

That's the beauty of a marshall and a winch - doesn't need traction, just a good anchorage somewhere out of the bog and will pull most things out
