Can anyone explain why Mole Valley Farmers have stopped listing the price of ALL the sheep fly products ?

Perhaps fellow farmers can post the prices they have paid on this thread.

Not a Scooby's, I'm afraid.

If they're not updating the site, and nobody in an office has clicked on a forbidden button, maybe they're going POA.

Not much help, sorry, but the last lot of various Cliks came with a voucher/pot - but that was a few months ago.

I noticed that when I wanted some a few weeks ago, it's probably because early in the season, another well know ag merchants were selling the same products about £20 per 5l cheaper so they decided to remove their prices.

They don't list much/ any medical products on their website. They used to but much seems to have been removed.
I'm quite confident there is no conspiracy over pricing although there can be a discrepancy between online and instore offers.

What sizes? I recently bought some from them, but only the 0.8 sizes. Clik crovect and a wormer.
Had to ring them up to order but 6 weeks ago was able to order online.

A lot easier to buy on line 24 hours a day with one click of a mouse button, knowing what the price is, than trying to ring them between 9 to 5 and having to negotiate a price !

The same reason that I NEVER ring a machinery merchant with a P.O.A price on a bit of machinery.
I never ring a machinery dealer with poa but I deal with a lot of ag merchants who don’t even have a website so have to ring them for a price and they’re usually cheaper than mole

I’ve been using Tarrf own brand Fly Off. 5litre £55. Agrihealth ectofly £45 for 5 litre. Been using these products for years now on all my sheep and had no issues at considerably less money than the equivalent crovect, clik etc

Doesn’t the local (rye) farm supplies look after you? Always very good prices for me and certainly beat mole valley pour on for cattle prices.

Would love to get everything from them, but most animal health products appear to cost me 20%+ more.

I get good cover with them for 6 or 7 weeks which is fine because the lambs are usually going away by that point. Withdrawal is only 8 days

Unfortunately, there isn’t an equivalent to Clik as yet. A cheaper ‘generic Clik’ would sell in huge volumes, if/when it gets here.
Ectofly, etc, is a totally different product.

The patent has been taken over by the same Irish firm that produces all the various crovects and ectofly products hopefully a generic version next year prob downland just need to price it right
