Interesting, I was told years ago that you never see weeds growing on a mole hill, which has mostly been true. Apparently old gardeners used mole hills for potting due to this. Wonder if the moles are telling us something...

Lots this year. Been trapping hard, just starting to tail off now. Caught 150+ at this spot, and this year hit the 1000 moles mark by valentines day, my earliest by a long way.

Spent some time around Middleham over the New Year, never seen as many moles about in all my life!

Nice soil they were fetching up too.

How those rodenators got a licence to be used is beyond me and apart from the fun value id say they were a massive waste of money.
