you show pictures of vegetables, fruit ? but the fact is most of the food consumed in the UK is ready made ready to eat or heat up or eaten from the hospitality industry and there lies the problem, factories that make pies, ready meals, cakes sweets etc etc are driven by commercial pressure to source the cheapest ingredients possible,

I take your point, but think you may be being a little unfair on the great British public, the huge surge in demand for veg boxes suggests there's a few cooks out there.

There are systems out there that are virtually Covid 19 proof. Vending systems controlled through a personalised touchscreen or direct from a smartphone that would allow the public to either buy from the machines without actually touching it or order on line and collect from the machine. Yes it requires investment but doesn’t everything in life?
