Moving a green star receiver to somewhere lower on the tractor

We have been taking our receivers off on a night for the last 2 years. The risk of dropping one or someone slipping off whilst trying to remove it is always a worry. The bigger tractors such as the 9 series aren’t an issue. It’s the 6215 that are worse for it. Has anyone mounted the receiver lower down or somewhere more accessible. I can’t see why it can’t be done as you can set all the offsets in the settings.

Always used to mount guidance receivers on the front of the bonnet. Primarily so you are ‘driving to the guidance’ rather than reacting to position. Only issues were found in poor signal zones which in hindsight are still the same for the cab mounted dome used these days.
You could put the dome on a long hinge which folds down to a sensible height possibly? The cables are easy enough to extend.
