MRAM or similar course

Does anyone know if the MRAM (maintenance and repair of agricultural machinery) still runs at Morton Morrell or any similar courses?

I did the MRAM 20 years ago and found it really worthwhile. My nephew is now thinking of doing similar if it exists.

Thanks

Out of all the years of education that I did the MRAM stands head and shoulders above anything else I did. 14 weeks that are etched into my everyday life, I shall always be indebted to Tym and Pete for their teachings. Yes we did pee about but we were all there to get as much as we could out of the course.

And wind up Bob Voss ;)

Just seems to be the way education is going. Anything practical /useful is too expensive to deliver.
By the time I did MRAM, we had to go to Leamington one day a week for the welding classes. Pete Walley got constant tatter off the guy in charge there over the amount of metal us lot were going through, he dug his heels in though and when we ran out of plates he'd have us fire up the guillotine and cut more, we never ran short!

No, not us. We did manage to get itching powder on his overalls which transferred to his shirt so he couldn't stop scratching from around dinnertime onwards. Pete used to get really cheesed off when he was giving a welding demonstration in the booths, we would feed an earth clamp from another welder to the bench and disconnect the earth for the one he was using but keep it handy so he could strike an arc but couldn't keep it going. He'd be checking the connections which would look good but weren't to the same welder.

I will admit to having a 1/4" Whitworth open ender that sits handy in the top of my tool chest but now it seems all the battery clamps are 13mm
