As above,do any of you have a rotary brush on a tractor or tele handler, to brush the road on which your tractors/ trailers are leaving mud on the road?

yes but only use on the side road even though we probably put more on the main road when dung spreading but the higher traffic keeps it clean. ps dont have it for road use but keeping the yard clean

Sweepex yard broom here is one of the most useful attachments for the telehander probably used at least once a week in the yard

Yes,got a Sutton bucket brush,to be fair most farmers around here have them now,one has a rear linkage mounted brush which just sweeps the muck to the side.
Neighbour was lifting beet Friday, ruddy mess on road but hard at it with bucket brush,it'll be nicely wash of now tho !.
but what else can you do?

The old 7840 sits on the brush full time when we are harvesting carrots, it also carries the mud on road signs. If it’s not too bad and on a side road trailer drivers will jump on it if and when they think it’s needed but if it’s a busy or fast stretch of road there’s someone on it full time. When we are harvesting in Highland region the council man likes to find where we are and visit many times a day.

it is often not the harvesting gangs who are the worst offenders since they are normally more geared up to keep roads clear, it is the lads on tracklayers coming on to roads who sometimes leave a wall of heavy clods for 10 -20 yards, which could grow its own crop of corn if drilled:mad:
