This might be a stupid question !

can you plug x2 ISO machines at the same time on the save tractor ?

ie an ISO front hopper and another ISO machine on the rear ?

If so how do you create the second ISO plug socket ? Can you simply get a splitter cable / adaptor ?

Yeah you can get Y-adapters to loop the bus correctly. Couple of places stateside have them online. See if I can find the links.
 
They might have to be terminated differently to a single unit, those baby resistors are expensive.
I take your pinch of sarcasm there Mursal, but it’s the Deutsch round connectors that are mega money. The termination is typically “self healing” on the external iso socket, it’s an active termination circuit, rather than 120ohm physical resistors, which in itself is actually pretty simple.
 
Here you go, knock yourself out @Mursal. This from the original 2002 standard. It’s been updated several times since I believe, but not all aspects, e.g. things like the in cab connector got changed in 2006....

Speak to LH, they fitted my front iso socket and T’d it into the rear one.
Wasn’t mega money but they where in the yard doing another job anyway..
