MX75 loader solenoid valve problem

I’ve been having troubles with the 3rd service solenoid on my ts100 mx75 loader. For a while it was getting stuck and not returning to the crowd rams. But it’s now got completely stuck between both services. Any recommendations on repair or a replacement unit? Not sure if it’s just the solenoid at fault or the whole unit. Any help appreciated. I’m down in Devon if anyone knows someone that could help

Have you taken the solenoid apart and cleaned it?
Yes I’ve taken the whole unit apart a few times now, given it all a thorough cleaning. The actual hydraulic valve part doesn’t move smoothly, despite the cleaning and a gentle wet and dry. Perhaps I should take the whole unit to local hydraulic guys?

Have a word with Flowfit in Ludlow.

What did @penntor do to sort out his (similar ?) problem

other than that Check the solenoid with a tester and all the wiring thoroughly particularly earthing and check the switch on the joystick and wiring and the relay it goes to .
Or for give BenBrit Engineering of Cheriton Bishop a call to see if they can fix the valve or get a replacement .

Mine was just the solenoid coil burnt out, no response at all when using 3rd service, could not even see the hydraulic pipes flex. Problem was finding just the coil and not the whole valve block which was available from original manufacturer at £1000 plus. David Trant, Bridestowe, 01837 861630, did manage to find just a replacement coil in the end, cost about £150.

Maybe your last resort would be to stick one of these in place of the valve, half a dozen 1/2 BSP to M22 adaptors and make it fit

I had a chat with Benbrit and they put me onto a mobile guy. He hasn’t been out yet but he got me to test the solenoid, which isn’t at fault. Now it’s trying to source a replacement valve block, apparently there’s some non genuine options? Or do I just go straight to Chilton? Here’s the unit

Looks like a six ported diverter valve. I'd pull it apart and see if the solenoid stem moves when energized, you have nothing to lose. They are available from many different place, may not be that style.

I’ve checked that and it does move. Not sure on the terminology but the rod inside the valve is the bit that’s sticking, the solenoid part is working fine. It’ll work for a while and then just gets stuck in position
