I did 2 yrs YTS at a Burgess branch in the late '80s, that was one of the perks of the job driving those IH's, one farm bought a 1056XL, 1255XL & loader, and a 1455XL together, used to love going there

Saw this 1255 working yesterday in North Suffolk

Sorry the light was against me as I was on the road
Next door was this beaut a 4450 . She sounded as good as she looked

The owner stopped and had a word, he is a real IH enthusiast and has a 5288 tucked away as well as a few more. His tractors are a real credit to him looking nearly new!

What a great tractor, if you paid under 15 k you got a bargain. It will only appreciate in value. I wish i
still had mine. I owned one for 6 years & sold it for a profit. You only do that with classics
