@Andy Howard Thank you for this, it is really interesting to see how inventive people can be if they have the cash reserves to do so. Very different from farming in the UK - how have they worked the subsidies to support this?

He is inventive because they don't have the cash reserves. Organic farming is a way to keep the farm profitable. Rent and land here more expensive than UK. If he was completely conventional then he would be struggling. Swedish public want organic and are willing to pay and government willing to support.

I grew some specialist wheat couple of years ago buyback fell through the merchant had a market to Sweden but they sent the sample back complaining of chlormaquat residues. I couldnt grumble
