Normally I split it 1/3, 1/3, 1/3 at end March, end April and end May. First doses are normally urea. I'm aiming to stick to that, however if we are pushed into April then I will swap the urea first split for something a bit faster - ether the Piamon, or some UAN liquid.

Quite a few asking now, raining again here so if another week/ten days before we get on I am advising 2 splits now especially liquid aim to get it on by end of April - certainly would be up to 100 kg on first dose regardless of splits now

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
