This is the Googled image of the badger skull posted by Yellowbelly. Sorry to disagree, but I'd guess that is an American beastie (URL has .com on the end).

This is a UK badger (below) and it has a very distinctive raised ridge at the rear of the skull for attachment of jaw muscles. That was always pointed out to me as a child as being a feature of a badger skull. My guess is otter, or maybe pine marten.

But we can’t see the top of the skull in the op’s pic.

The jaw bone where it attaches to the skull looks different though: particularly, there’s a small bone projecting from the back of the lower jaw that looks odd, unless that’s just the camera angle.
