I asked Herself that she not renew her NT membership.

Daughter 1 ended hers at the anti-country sports attitude...

That's two votes for the retention of reality within the NT gone, then. How many others just dropped membership rather than get involved?
One of my managers is a keen writer of letters, and attender of local NT committee meetings. Fortunately for those country people who are no longer members, my manager is actually sticking up for you.

Fair Point...

Well I did use their Votes last time Country Sports were under fire ;)

Not quite the same but tough terrain forklifts seemed to be the forerunner to telescopics

Looks like these pair are out the same nest !!

National Trust appoints RSPCA chief as its new chairman https://mol.im/a/10315169 via https://dailym.ai/android

Wokey cokey
Isn't this the man who was brought in to sort out the RSPCA when it was getting way beyond its remit and privately prosecuting/harassing farmers ? He has calmed down the RSPCA so will hopefully do the same for the National Trust

We can live in hope I guess....
Too late for some of us though, mighty relieved to get them out of my hair. Would never go back to having them as landlords, such a bunch of dreamers.Latest on our old farm is they are leaving all the stubble post harvest 2021 until August 2022 to see what grows. I think we all know the answer to that already. Beggars belief. Not fit to own the land.

New depths? I farm this ground for last 30 years....now the National Trust is advertising a “public talk” without any consultation whatsoever with the AHA resident farm tenant.

Go along and ask a few awkward questions?

Trouble is, so many holiday/2nd home owners and tourists nearly all year round. Farmers are just an inconvenience!

Do the Burrows still look as if one of Putin's missiles went off track? If the single track road breaches, all those low fields will go under next. A case of 'A stitch in time....' ☹

You have my sympathy. Been there and done that. They have no respect whatsoever for their tenants. things are decided without the tenant ever been consulted. They need to be brought to account.
