Do they produce anymore meat per acre through their calves?
Or would they be more profitable as just terminal cross on the Blue Greys?

Produce a more commercial calf as less hairy but I find them a bit big for me so gone down the Luing route, partly for a scheme and partly so I need less bulls/crosses but nowt wrong with a Blue Grey

yes, its a shame the Blue-Grey is not eligible, it not being a breed
Yeah it's a real shame but I for one am doing my best to sell the WBS as a stand alone suckler breed in its own right. Like you I keep a small herd of pures which cross very well, are good milking quite cows that live off very little and are bonny to look at as well :)(y)
