We're in Stewardship & I noticed this statement at the bottom of a recent email from NE

If diseased wildlife wasn't protected, our traditional landscapes would have a lot better chance of surviving. The environment won't be too healthy either unless they get the Badgers under control

"We are here to secure a healthy natural environment for people to enjoy, where wildlife is protected and England’s traditional landscapes are safeguarded for future generations."

That statement does seem contradictory,

"securing a healthy natural environment... where wildlife is protected [at all costs]"

Do NE ever ask if you control the rabbits/rats/pigeons etc etc on your land? :scratchhead:

"England's traditional landscapes" are unique, largely because they were created to fit round hunting & shooting interests

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
