Morning all, I've got another problem I could do with a bit of help with.
I've got a Neuson 501 skidsteer which is not charging. It has had a new alternator and battery, but it still failed to start the other day. I'm going to double check the ground etc today. I checked the resistance of the wire which carries 12v from ignition to alternator yesterday, which measured at 0.6ohms. Is that a bit too high? I was expecting less.
The only other thing which is different from when it was working properly is the warning sounder is not coming on when the ignition is turned to the first click. The warning sounder would normally come on with the oil pressure, oil temp and battery charge lights on the display after the bulb check. This might be irrelevant to the charging issue, but seems strange to have started happening at the same time.
Any help much appreciated.
