New Cable for Bomford Supertrim - also fits other Bomford cable hedgecutters/flails £89.99

Post Free £89.99 for a single item or £80.99 each if you buy a set of three.
Brand new cables for Bomford Hedge trimmer. 2.0 m long.
The inner and outer, will fit your existing control and the valve body.
This item is 2.0m long. (As an option on some machines, there were also 2.5m and 3.0m cables - contact me if you need a set of these.)
At the end that fits onto the valve block it has a 5/8" diameter x 18 tpi UNF thread that fits into the aluminium housing that mounts on the valve block.
At the end that fits into the control lever it has a 3/4" diameter collar with a groove for a roll pin.

The end fittings are an exact replica of the original equipment so the whole cable is simply fitted in place of the original Bomford cable with no different parts needed or any modifications required. You simply remove the old one and fit the new one.

You are purchasing the cable without the control lever/body on one end or the hedgecutter/flail plus tractor - at the other end!

There is a roll pin that secures the cable in the control handle. You simply partially knock that out of the body with a drift/bolt and then pull out the cable. The cable end is fitted with a machined threaded eye piece that fits into the clevis and pin that is inside the Bowden control lever assembly. You will need to remove the rubber gaiter around the control to remove the old inner and replace it with the new one.
At the other end the cable is fitted with a threaded ferrule. This is so you can accurately adjust the installed outer cable length to match the other controls. You will need to unscrew the clevis off the inner of your old cable and mount it on the new inner cable on this item. You will lock the clevis in place with the lock nut supplied with this cable.

This is a high quality pattern part made in the UK. The outer is lined with a low friction plastic liner for smooth control and this does not need to be lubricated.
The OE Bomford part numbers are 07.074.08 or 04.265.07. Please call your local Bomford agent to determine the cost of the OE spare.

Yes those are the type. If you would like the four it is 3 @69.37 + 1 at 72.28 = 280.39 Plus VAT would be £336.47. I can get them away tomorrow on a 24 hour delivery.

Bomford have yet another part number for the B49 cables. If the fittings at the end are as my photos or the photos in AdamP929's post above, then the cables I supply will fit.
