New concrete shed floor / concrete panel interaction

So for the next project, shed needs concrete floor with grain panels lined for grain storage.

I'm debating how to do this, we have to dig out and re stone to get levels correct. Looks like we will be about 300mm lower at the back of the shed with FFH then outside so will have to put a drain in which I can just about do fall wise

Thinking panels to sit on the inside of the outer web of the steels to give more space inside (cleaner face outside)

which come first, concrete floor or panels?

considering panels first, sat on welded lugs and clamped in so concrete can go in after, need to make an outside step down to drain as well, something like the pic.

I think panels like to flex so perhaps we ought to have the outer slope below the panel level so it can flex out as required.

if we sit the panel onto of a the FFL then how do we seal the floor from damp etc being blown under?

Last one we did with panels, we set the panels first about 50mm below FFL and the concrete layers ran the plastic sheet up the inside of the panel, then trimmed the plastic off afterwards, seems to have worked very well. We then sheeted down to below FFL outside the panels as well.

I don't think you will ever get a perfect seal if the panel sits on the concrete, both surfaces would have to be perfectly flat and then you are depending on a mastic seal to keep it dry. It would be OK if you sheet down outside with a drip steel fitting over the edge of the concrete with the concrete finished outside the stanchions, one of our stores is done like that and its fine.

Panels in 1st, then run concrete out below them, poker it if you can. FFL should be at least 50mm up the panel. A 150mm thick panel shouldn't flex very much.

Put the panels on the inside of the shed so you have a flush internal wall. Makes cleaning out from muck and grain etc much easier. Panels first then concrete, remember to lay plastic under the concrete.

Panels first set 50mm below internal FFL then concrete 25mm below FFL on outside to stop capillary action eh !.

oh yeah and it’s a proper ball ache sloting panels into webs once the sheds fixed down, it can be done on 305x165 I did it on mine but on the gable posts 203x133. I had to put the panels in as the posts where put in as there’s not enough room to slot them in after there fixed.
