New drainage gulley along side arable field. LERAP required?

I've had a contractor in improving a farm track by forming up a new surface and creating a small gulley either side to take water away instead of having puddle 7 pot holes form. The gulleys are only a foot deep but 2 feet wide. I have combinable crops either side. Do I need to create a LERAP and buffer zone? I guess it would be classified as a dry ditch as it only runs in seriously heavy rain.

I only really use 3* nozzles for sprays. No category A products but since I have no other LERAPs on the farm due to 6m field margins and few watercourses my memories are a bit rusty on this.

Considering I was reading they consider the potato ridges people have pulled round fields to stop coursers as dry ditches I would assume so. They will be considering furrow holes soon

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
