Me neither.I'm not over convinced that if the small amount of greening etc in thus country was allowed to be ploughed up that many would do it anyway ....why do it when the rising costs are still rising when by doing nothing you will get a handsome payout ? ......or have I got it wrong ?
Most people have poorer or awkward bits on their farms where the EFA areas are. Often marginal ground at the best of time never mind with Fert at £1000.
Be better keeping EFA’s and throw the greens something in exchange for ditching the ludicrous tree planting, beaver releasing, wetland creation lunacy they want to impose on us.
