All I can say is what the agent has told me so far I think the existing tenant tendered to high when he took the farm on and now can't afford it so there in the process of terminating his tenancy. I am farming abroad at the moment so will be looking for someone to be the eyes and ears in the farm when I am away also to do the field work and possibly look after stock till I get there full time next spring tenancy should start end of sept if all goes to plan . I've had several suggestions of contractors please feel free to pm good or bad reports as it's difficult sorting without meeting someone face to face and after reading this website for several months I think members on here can sort wheat from the chaff !! Cheers richard

Very few farms around Mid Devon that are the acreage you talk about that are all rented... all sounds a bit well.. something not quite right about it tbh.. did you tender for the farm when the current tenant got it??
