I had a bull out yesterday he was quite happily wandering down a footpath to the next village. He was in 1of the few fields I have surrounded by hedge so he would have been very secure. He is a small Angus so it didn't take much of a hole for him to get through. When we were looking to see how he got out we found a hole somebody has cut in the hedge. I can see where the blackthorn has been cut, they have also cut a hole further down in my neighbours field to make a private footpath. :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

I need a few hundred of these signs.

They make good targets for the local kids' pellet guns. Otherwise a good idea. Only thing is, these folk see plenty of cow sh!t in the fields and wonder what the difference is between that and fido's deposit :banghead:

Look good sadly the people that don’t give a feck will continue to not give a feck.

I’ve pretty much stopped asking people to put dogs on leads when in with our Sheep.

Or landmines.

We had the same on a block of grazing land back home. Blackthorn cut from elsewhere, then pushed in the holes before repairing the barbed wire, used to stop them. It sounds like you've got a bright one though, and he's found gloves.

This.

Cows crap on grass, so does my dog, and then farmers spread more crap on them, what's the difference, crap is crap, surely?

Ive had walkers cut holes in hedges to make a short cut.yes i know it defeats the object of foot paths.unfortuantly i never caught them.had another couple this week who i went after.why are you not on the foot path.its been ploughed up and planted they said.the path was a very badly rutted farm track that i chisel ploughed and power harrowed to make it safer for walkers.common sense seems lacking in alot/most people.
