Hi i have seen a new holland 650 round baler advertised for sale it has a broken gear box shaft an i have a spare gear box for 835 new holland . Can anyone tell me if they would be the same . Thank you

Doubtful. Not remotely the same family of machine but not impossible to share a gearbox.

Ah , so you're in the US of A , bought a tidy 644 here in october for $2500 , all working

Every auction will have a 600 series baller in ranging from £500 to £2k.
I’d advise buying a late one and keeping the 650 for spares
