I have just bought a new Holland 650 from my mate - he usually does all my baling but I think he wants me to do the small bits myself now! - anyway, my question is can the electrical connection for the control box and the duckbill motor thingy be connected via the three pin connector in the cab? My mate runs his other balers, both NH, directly from the battery and says this is the way it should be done as stated in the manual.

Run direct from the battery because any voltage drop will mess up the auto net wrap and it won’t turn off the nett
Plus 1 for connecting directly tp the battery.
Our dealer told us to always run the control box from the battery as it is very fussy about voltage drops etc. We have had three NH balers all bale over 50K bales each without any issues.
The original cable should be long enough to go to the battery and has an inline fuse.
