I have a Ford/New Holland 8340 which is putting up error code E38 and will not move. This should relate to number 4 solenoid. Switched solenoids around and checked plug and all seems ok. Strange thing is if you hold the hare button on the gear lever while starting and select to move a gear the error code will not come up and the tractor will drive. any suggestions as to what is really wrong.
