Hi all,
I have a New Holland 8340 1996 reg blue roof and every now and again error E39 appears on the dash and the tractor loses drive. I have replaced the C4 solenoid on the side of the gearbox and the wiring looks good. It only ever happens when I'm inching with the clutch for example backing into a trailer or backing into a slatted tank with the agitator. Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction

We used to have a 6640 did the same when slipping the clutch It never bothered us I just thought it was to stop us wearing the clutch pack

First look at two multi-pin connectors under right front of cab spray electric cleaner on pins Codes E38-45 go through them also look under cab floor panel wiring can get damaged.
