Was the New Holland D1210 120 x 90 a decent baler of it's time, were they reliable?
How does the 5 string knotter compare to a 6 string does it affect bale density, do bale buyers prefer 6 string bales?
Do they have any know problems?

Thanks

Only problem your likely to run into is the shaft drive for the knotters, people say they are a pain in the arse and wear really bad. But I ran 2 D1010s for 10 plus years and never had any issues whatsoever, both of mine had the factory updates tho as mine had the earlier shafts. If memory serves you can’t get the big gears anymore tho, so if you where to break one you’d be looking for second hand or be scraping it !.
As for 5 string against 6 well my BB950 is 5 string and I can get just as much weight in as a 6 string, so I’d say no issues there !.
