Chill.....it was only a jokeI’ve been to Massey factory and fendts and valtra are produced on same line there as masseys!

Customer of ours has a 210 and its a nightmare. Spent thousands fixin it. Itl be goin for a jd shortly if he hasnt already got it changedwe've had newholland for over 20 years lots of differant models but the new 210 we have now is testing me to my limit. dealer very good the tractors the problem
Fair enough. Some ppl get good service outa them but round here quite a few of the contractors that would be doin high hours doin hard graft has moved from nh to jd and no notion of goin backHad CNH tractors here for years, never been into a gearbox Or a 4wd bearing, only ever done the brakes on One 8000 plus hr tractor And that was as planned maintence and they weren’t worn out, And when was the last time you read a thread on here about a FPT engine or auto command/cvx gearbox going bang?
We do need them to buy our produce but lets face it most consumers dont care where stuf is produced/made so why should i. The reason most factorys moved away from britian is cause of workers rights and pay demands and government red tape not because we didnt buy ther products. They might be better but they give bother too and won't do jobs any better than the next brand or earn you any more money, so if farmings so bad and no money in it why would you spend the extra on a fendt? Plus why not buy the one that is assembled in the UK supporting UK jobs? After all farmers want the public to support them and buy their produce.
Only know the history of 4 local fendts, we have had 2 first bad one second better, neighbour had one new turbos etc but on the whole good, friend on his second first one new engine and vario. However fendt are very good at sorting out problems so good tractors but not perfect. Can get a bad specimen in any (or a brilliant one) make know of a Fendt where the gearbox was fixed 3 times and PTO clutch once under warranty owner sold it on and the engine blew up shortly afterwards
was only the larger S series made in Beauvais that iam aware of unless thats changed.I’ve been to Massey factory and fendts and valtra are produced on same line there as masseys!

I saw them on the line. We weren’t allowed to take photos for obvious reasons. No they are not every now and again their make a valtra or two but not fendt
Think you'll find the fpt engine in the New Holland is the better engine. Are they not the most efficient tractor ever tested by the dlg? No reliability issues either with the fpt engine.

Put a Fendt in pedal mode & any one can drive itMind I bet some Fendts are driven by complete goons who don't know how to drive them. Modern gearboxes and varios etc are undoubtedly going to be abused if people don't know how to operate them.
I will never understand the T6000 series, all the examples I have driven were a sack of merde.

It is simple 1st gear in the field 2nd on the road & stop to change gearYes but you know what people are like, caning kit, using the 2nd gear for heavy draft loads, sudden direction changes, on/off brakes and throttle. There are some morons out there.
And if you don't, vario problems, which is the point he is making. Its not simple to make a moron do that. Would be easier if the tractor didn't allow gear to be changed while moving but still no way to ensure they go into 1st for field work.It is simple 1st gear in the field 2nd on the road & stop to change gear
Like drillman said how many topics on here do you see about reliability issues on an fpt engine? I don't recall any. Compare that with duetz engine issues in fendts and John deeres head gasket issues and variable turbo issues. The fpt engines are the best out there. Even Deere used them in a certain model at one time!Sorry but I am far from convinced about the engine in New Hollands.
