Hello I’m having problems with my t6.175 going into 4wd. It doesn’t matter if it’s in main or automatic. It clicks in but either spins very slowly or not at all.
any help appreciated

Normally problems are its stuck in 4wd due to an electrical fault such as a brake light bulb gone or switch failed as its fail safe 4wd. The solenoid requires power to keep it out of 4wd.
If its clicking in ok your problem might be the 4wd clutch pack is possibly slipping and the plates worn maybe.

Do these t6s have to be split for the clutch pack to be done and is it a dear job ?

Depending where your problem is. Need to do some more fault finding before splitting it. There will be some test ports you can plug into to test pressures but you'll need to know what they should be 1st.
Ive only split a tsa135 to do the clutch packs for gearbox and that was simple enough
