Normally problems are its stuck in 4wd due to an electrical fault such as a brake light bulb gone or switch failed as its fail safe 4wd. Do these t6s have to be split for the clutch pack to be done and is it a dear job ?Normally problems are its stuck in 4wd due to an electrical fault such as a brake light bulb gone or switch failed as its fail safe 4wd. The solenoid requires power to keep it out of 4wd.
If its clicking in ok your problem might be the 4wd clutch pack is possibly slipping and the plates worn maybe.
Depending where your problem is. Need to do some more fault finding before splitting it. There will be some test ports you can plug into to test pressures but you'll need to know what they should be 1st.Do these t6s have to be split for the clutch pack to be done and is it a dear job ?
