The seal is leaking oil. How hard is it to change please? Can we try or should I seek professional help?

Doesn't look too bad, the newer ones have 1 big nut instead of 3 bolts like your picture and ya need a special socket for that. Hardest part is getting the kingpins out if they're seized in there. Best way I've found is to take the bolts out and weld a piece of steel to the kinpin big enough that you can hit it with a hammer and just beat them out.

It’s stopped leaking for the moment so will see if it starts again and yes there is still oil in the hub. It was on the subsoiler when it did leak which was hard work and it did get quite warm.

Just looking through my parts diagram of the hub and it shows that big nut so mite be a bit of a mission on 2nd thoughts. Easy way would be to take the planetary cover off and have a look see what's in there.

My Tm’s the same if it’s sat for a couple of weeks it will leak a little but if used every couple of days doesn’t leak strange really.

Yea you need to take kingpins out to do the small seal which seldom leaks its nearly always the big seal that goes and also to open the big nut you can make a socket with six pieces of flat
