Does anyone know roughly how much import duty I would have to pay for a egr valve that I have found in Germany? I’m struggling to find anything other than genuine that is in stock in the uk. Thanks in advance Ben.
I’m thinking I need one to relieve compaction now I am moving away from ploughing.
I like the idea of low disturbance, but is that possible combined with removing compaction?
Are leading discs important?
How many legs/meter?
Do some manufacturers make a better job of it than others?
Hi Folks
I have a RSA twin leg sub soiler which I mainly use with just a single leg.
I would like to fit a slitting disc ahead of the leg and wondered if anyone had done this ?
My idea is the use a coulter disc.
We’re having a bit of a clear out and have come across 14 of these. Any ideas what they’re from or who‘d have any use for them? Looks like some sort of wearing shin etc. Cheers

does anyone know if this is allowed in scotland? im 800m from nearest water main for house connection so will need to either mole in a pipe or dig a trench the full way, i see online i could buy a moler for around £350, this could then be used for other jobs around the farm in future
Just looking for some advice. It’s biblically wet here now and there is water pissing out from everywhere.
on one of our rented blocks of land there is a house below one of the access lanes. I’ve no clue what rights they have other than they don’t own the access lane.
there is a significant...

Have several fields where leys are starting to get tired, I would like to perk them up a bit.
Would prefer not to plough out, how successful would hammering with grass harrows in September and chucking seed on?
I do realize weather would be dependent.
Any downfalls?
Tia.

Some very tidy kit - must be farming in a very big way - multiple drills and 3 SP sprayers!
Are cattle now a numbers game with forklifts at 90k, tractors at 130k, contractor rates and repair costs now through the roof it strikes me that running a small herd or fattning number will struggle to pay for this let alone provide a profit, arent producers going to have to think bigger in...
Hi all,
We're looking for some available farms throughout the UK to host some demonstrations for our Soil-Max drainage plough. I'm wondering if anyone would be available to help us host in 2-3 months from now. Below is a video of the last demonstration we held just outside of Duxford.
