New home build

Evening all need your advice and expertise on this one please

We have moved out from the farm as we have a near two year old child, rented to see how it would work and the difficulties of being away from the stock and it’s just not viable to be away and not on hand to even complete little jobs or nip to the shed for the odd bit or something and let’s not even go there with calving time, plus the rent is crippling and neither of us like being away.

So how do we go about putting one of those posh mobile homes that are basically a bungalow up on the farm, close enough to the yard but far enough away that noise will not travel and keep the child awake through the night and also be able to keep it as our house with respectful distance between relatives?

It will have to be out of the no planning required grounds, can’t remember what it’s called so need some advice on best ways in which to achieve what we require.

Open to any and all suggestions even actually building a bungalow or small house. Will require 3 beds minimum as I have no intention of stopping at one child, although the Mrs says otherwise😂

Thanks all

Don’t upset your neighbours and site one, after 10 years you need to apply for a certificate of lawfulness, well that’s if you get 10 years without being grassed up.

Either try it by stealth, may get away with it if you can be seen from public places but the satellite may catch you.

or speak to a planning.consultant and look at getting an ag tag on a house but lots of hoops to jump through

If
You know of anyone done similar near you have a look online at there applications and the response from the planning authority read through them you want to be looking at a dozen or so and also look on the planning inspectorate website and read some appeals as well you will get a feel for what can and can’t be done and what would be the best way forward
