New house elec connection.

I am renovating an old property that will require a new electric connection. It’s a small 3 bed house - I need to give a maximum power requirement (Kva) to my DNO. Is there a standard power requirement for a 3 bed house that will have an air source heat pump and car charger point?

A house will never need 100A anymore. We’re on a 80A supply with a GSHP and shed etc etc but because the meter is in an outside box more than 3m? from consumer unit we had to have a sub main. As the sparky had to put the sub main in he said it had to have its own protection so had to fit a 60A fuse incase we blew the main one. The 60 has been more than enough.

Have a worst case scenario calculation, 8-10kw shower (possibility), 2.5 kw ASHP running, someone pops oven on, another what 2-3kw for the car charger, 2-3 kw for tellies, light, circulation pump, toaster, fridge, freezer and 3kw for kettle etc. I’ve never seen smart meter here pass 11kw even on Christmas day. Will double check tonight when Sunday roast is on

house to pole 25m, £2500.
on the farm, 100amp, supply in, not enough really for the dairy, but was renewed when we were not milking, got a few 'gadgets' to stop to many things cutting in together.
2nd meter does the borehole, and yard lights, from another shed.
did ask for 'upgrade to dairy', was told i wouldn't want to know, so don't ! It all works, so good enough.

If single phase the car charger will pull 32amp on it's own, that's a given.
If 3 phase supply, depending on the car:
Nissan leaf has 1 phase charger on-board, so 32amp on that phase regardless of phases available.
The likes of tesla, BMW and the like use 3 phase chargers (when they can) they pull 16amp per phase or 32amp when on a single phase.

That translates to 7kw for single phase charger and 11kw for 3 phase charger, although most people installing 3 phase chargers install 22kw ones to future proof.
