I think every jd dealer should have a resident DJ and singer to appear every time a customer arrives to collected his or her new tractor
Do u mean the command quad box? Then i hope they didn't skimp on quality of the gearbox like they did on the M series. If they did, it's a thing to avoid.
All the boxes in the M, which is all variations of the autoquad. Clutch discs in the power shift gears are too cheap and break. Costly repair and the same on all of them i was told, when mine broke after 2 years and 2000 hours. 2019 6195mDo u mean the command quad box?
Cant say iv ever heard of that problem but then again its mostly r series round here and the m series would tend to not be owned by the more heavy duty usersAll the boxes in the M, which is all variations of the autoquad. Could that be down to the person in the drivers seat? All the boxes in the M, which is all variations of the autoquad. Clutch discs in the power shift gears are too cheap and break. Costly repair and the same on all of them i was told, when mine broke after 2 years and 2000 hours. 2019 6195m
Deere paid most of it and it was the 4th they did at my dealer this year, when mine broke in may. They changed more than the broken one, to a new stronger version. Something with clutchdiscs that was made thinner than earlier. So i would say deere admit it's not down to the use. Mine is a commandquad and i was told the only thing we can ruin by use, is the reverser, the rest is computer controlled so we can't do it wrong. Mine is the small one here, so it's not on heavy work much.Could that be down to the person in the drivers seat?
Mine is not on heavy use. And it is all sizes that break.Cant say iv ever heard of that problem but then again its mostly r series round here and the m series would tend to not be owned by the more heavy duty users
It wasn't fully loaded standard autopower not command pro sf3 guidance etc I'm sure it was around the mid 140sI was quoted £152k for a fully loaded 6215r last August,Jd dealer bid me £10k less on my trade in than three other dealers (Fendt,Case and Nh) .
I have men near me run all john deere. Have done for years and doing fair hours. Their latest r series are giving problems in that department. Never has happened beforeCant say iv ever heard of that problem but then again its mostly r series round here and the m series would tend to not be owned by the more heavy duty users
Start of phasing it out imo. Best tranny out there if ur not needin cvt and around here jds best sellin point
Ah am just old skul that way i like gearsticks. A vario is the dogsballs for driving but for owning i like gearpolesI wouldn't miss it. That big stick is old hat now. 20 yrs ago it was fine in a 6810 but no way would I pay that money for it these days.
Personally I'd like to try a 6165r autopower

All brands have there issues, not just JD.!!I know of 2 R series IVT locally that have had serious problems in the back ends, diff/back axle related, and another that dropped into park lock on it's own while driving, doing lots of damage, these are all under 3 years old with not many hours

We were quoted that for a 6155r a few weeks ago with no GPS , they are a lot more money than a Fendt nowI'm sure a 6215 was 145k ish last November when we were pricing I'm surprised the new ones aren't more
Still a better tractor tho so worth the extraWe were quoted that for a 6155r a few weeks ago with no GPS , they are a lot more money than a Fendt now
That's probably good value now, compared to the new ones with the different stickers on the bonnet. We were quoted that for a 6155r a few weeks ago with no GPS , they are a lot more money than a Fendt now
