Fair point I guess!! But any dominance by one or even two!! Machinery manufacturers isn't a good thing in the long run believe me!!
Regarding commodity prices!! Well in the uk we are a small player and we are governed by world markets, and failing a perfect storm scenario world wide we are basically stuffed!!
Our climate is probably the least of our worries!!

I ran a 36 till I crashed it.:-(
Just bought 7278. Hope it lasts long enough for massey to sort the problems with the new laverda built ones.

My trailer man decided to play hide and seek in the dark behind me. it was not a gatepost!!!
It was last thing at night @Badshot shouts down cb last one out of gate shuts it, hurtling towards gateway suddenly realises the 30ft header won't fit the 14ft gateway slams on and in shock of the moment tractor and trailer can't stop pmsl

I'd heard the lavender ones were going well. It's the rotory that's struggling isn't it? Anyway no experience of either so maybe I misheard. We run a 7256 which goes reasonably well.
