New Member's User Names

If a new member's user name consists of 2 or more words and they enter it without spaces between them and it consists of more characters than there is space for, the extra characters appear on the 2nd line. It just looks silly. On the entry page, why aren't new member advised to enter their name with the spaces to avoid this?

A lot of places won;t accept spaces, I'll find out if a note can be added to the registration. Or at least , how easy it is to do that.
