Hi guys hoping you can help! I have 4 class q conversion barns and I really would like to heat them with ASHP I have a grid quotation but its subject to loading, which I didn't have at the time. For the smallest it is looking like 8.5kW (100sqm) think the heat pumps might push it over, and then require a new transformer.

I have two phase HV coming to a pole mounted transformer in field, used to be a dairy farm here. So I have two phase supply to me with 2x 63a units above my meter. No longer any need for this property to have anything above a standard supply in the future so I'm not sure how much this would free up.

There are currently 3 properties neighbouring farm that are supplied by LV that comes from my transformer. There are a further 2 under construction that supposedly will have a connection next month.

I've a photo of the transformer here, it's 50kVa and looks quite an age. Is there much surplus capacity presently, and what's the calculation to work it out.
