Just looking at one of the last old shape rangers registered jan 23. How much would this have been new. They want £27,500+vat now(13’000miles) , just wandering how much it’s lost
My Aug22 Wildtrack was 27.5k + vat but it was ordered May 21 through a buying group. Price includes the hardtop which was about £1500

China is taking over the car industry, these scaremongering comments are being made to try and get them banned from the European and US markets so the less successful manufacturers can retain market share.
The ability to remotely control vehicles has been around for at least 20 years.
China is banning Tesla’s from sensitive areas because it thinks the US is using them to spy on them with all their cameras, as they are an American company, not remotely shut them down to cause chaos.

There's no evidence that China would do something like this just like Germany with WV, America with Ford, South Korea with Hyundai/Kia or Japan with Toyota aren't, although the governments in those countries could and perhaps do use every day tech to 'spy' on people.

That’s as good as a Volvo xc90 or equivalent large 2.0 diesel SUV. Only very slightly worse than i get from my 1.6 Honda CR-V so 44 sounds decidedly iffy. I had a Q7 for some years with basically the same engine and was pleased whenever I managed to better 30mph
Exactly.
I did 60,000 in the same truck as Lee has. Not once did I get anywhere near that…. Guess I’m not as good a driver as he is

44mpg….. really…

Not the journey I referred to above as that was pump measured but the pic shows similar. That’s not ‘instant’ before you say. That’s ‘average’ for that particular journey. And please note I said long journey. It clearly doesn’t do that on short daily commutes which would be around 28. Any towing a lot less again.
Just clocked 800 miles in the new v6 Amarok and I can’t get it over 21mpg and that’s mostly in ‘eco’ mode as well.

Measure it properly by filling the tank doing x number of miles journey and then refilling to see how many litres it takes. Work you're mpg out from this and see how it compares to the dash figures. You might be surprised at the difference.
