New shed planning question

We are thinking about putting up a new shed 80ft long x 60ft wide x 30ft to the apex. Single span and it will sit next to an existing shed of the exact same sise, making use of the uprights on one side of it. Can this go up as permitted development or would it be full planning. Effectively it will be open sided for storage of straw and machinery.

Go for a 28 day notice on a building like that and use your permitted development right for something better like a barn conversion!

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
