I have had a dwindled Facebook friends list because of the police matter currently.
Yeah mine has depleted 'cause of that too.

Hormone implants and feed additives are still very common over here while they've for the most part been banned there.

There's also variances in drug availability and protocols. For instance afaik the UK has Micotil but it may only be administered by a vet. That's not the case here where anyone can give Micotil, you just need a prescription to get it.

Yeah I'm kinda glad that we can't just get Micotil whenever. It's bloody nasty stuff. o_O

Oh another thing I nearly forgot; US animal welfare laws. Mainly because I have a HUGE problem with Peta.

Micotil tastes awful but then they all seem too. Draxxin is horrid but it's not as sticky as Micotil so doesn't seem to linger as much :ROFLMAO:

LA smells like fish :hungover:

LA 200 is a bugger when its cold. don't use micotil on the farm much. Draxin we use with the lil buckaroos
Everything is a bugger when it's cold. The LA's, Resflor, Micotil, even Borgal can get thick enough you're injecting a solid and it bruises your hand to push the plunger.

Draxxin, Lut, Dex and the vaccines all freeze in the needle easy though and then like to release in your face :dead:

Worse thing to use frozen though? Ivomec. It turns all slushy and you can't just warm it up quick. It's like a blue alcoholic slurpee.

What would you like to know? the vet comes tomorrow for herd check, I can ask him a bit.
Just this and that really. When it comes to medications me father is always on the look out for different ones to use on both the moos and the sheep especially when it comes to eye problems and fluke in particular. Maybe there are some medications that we have here and across the pond. I seem to have become me fathers advisor on these things. As for Peta... views?

PETA == People Eating Tasty Animals. Saying that to PETA members reall pishes them off (y)
Saying anything to them pisses them off. Most don't have an iota of a clue to understand what you're talking about and just assume you're offending them at every turn. Which in turn usually leads me to offend them...

What type of cows? What type of bulls? etc etc. Any other livestock, you said you had sheep before, what type?

We have an all Holstein herd. We have a breeding bull in with the heifers (very mean, soon to be retired). My grandfather also did sheep back in the 60's. 50 ewe herd. I don't know what breed, that knowledge may have died with him. He never mentioned the breed in his journals. If you count cats as livestock, we got a sizable herd of them roaming about.

PETA is better off going after dog fighters for the most part. They are a bag of nuts spilled on the counter. I will have a talk with the vet tomorrow about medications.
