Several years ago I looked at vario tractors. A vario claas was more expensive than the equivalent fendt. Nice cab interior though
When the Arion stepless first came out they were quite far out on price. We priced one before they were officially released and it came back £3k more than the Fendt. We changed a NH T7.200 for a Claas 660 2 years ago and after adding on guidance the Claas came in cheaper.

Smooth box

A bit like NH with 3 target programmable speeds but there was something weird about it if I remember right if you moved the stick ot changed the target speed not just slowed down or speeded like most then return to target speed
There is quite alot of different ways to set up the way the transmission works and how the cruse speeds are set. It took me a while so even on a long demo you may not get used to it and along with every other manufacturer the operators manual leaves a lot to be desired.

How you getting on with the Dalbo ?
I've got the same but with two sets of rings on the back (b.heavy).
Very happy with it, only issue I’ve found is it doesn’t like long trash/grass which drags on the legs as they aren’t staggered enough but more staggering would make it longer and heavier to pick up!
Been doing one pass on the stubble then drilled straight behind it and it’s been going in lovely (until the rain started🤦🏻‍♂️).

On heavy ground I would say you’d need 200hp+ minimum, I’ve only had it on my 6215 and my uncle’s 200hp Axion and was making both tractors work on our clay soils. On light ground you’d probably get away with 150 but it is a heavy bit of kit so need something that will pick it up ok. We’ll probably try it on our 6630 at some point but I have a feeling it may be a bit much for it at any sort of depth.

Haha
I`ll not bother looking to buy one of those then
Think 4cyl Massey might object

I tried one before we got the sumo trio none of them like anything long but I found the dalbo worse as the bit the leg goes into is very close to the ground and is a bug chunk of metal so grass and trash just wraps around it .

I've only tried the trio on the 6930 once it was a pretty pointless half hour till it went back on the 7820
