The 175 cvx that has gone was a bloody good tractor and my little lad who is now nearly 5 grew up on that tractor with me, great passenger seat(with seat belt) high up between the side window and main seat.
With 10000hrs of hard work sadly she needed to go.

Autoglym rapid ceramic spray is my new weapon of choice. Watching the panels bead like mad is very satisfying. Even this week in the heavy rain, didn’t need the wipers lol

yep £1000 for a truck that you can fix with basic tools, that as long as its maintained well will go on forever, and that has gone past the depreciation curve, so in theory its earning without turning a wheel.

I like basic in a work truck......you struggle to get "proper" basic anymore.....

Do you have to redo it every time you power wash? Would be good to have something to stop grease sticking to windows/bodywork but it can't be very economical if you replace it every time you wash.

This. Blowtorch is a temporary solution (and dangerous, you can f up the plastics even if it doesn't catch fire).

Throwback to the times when me and my brother were both with dad in the MF 365 sitting on the "fenders" in the cab. When we got sleepy dad pulled a baling twine between rear glass tube frame and side glass opening handle to keep us from falling. Good times.

It claims to offer upto 3 months protection, if it lasts that long with @ColinV6 washing his tractor should be good for at least 12month with everybody else

Ive done it every other wash usually. The gloss and depth in the blue is miles better than my old one was just doing an occasional polish. Very impressed with it. Only takes a small amount per panel. I’m on my original bottle since getting the tractor in July.

I even did the manitou with it today. Brought it up very shiny for almost 3 year old and 2000 hours!
