New toy day

Looks like a cherry
That's it, it's not a cherry. I've used a cherry and wouldn't have one unless they've changed their design, their rams sit in a channel and material just builds up in it till it starts pushing against the ram and compost goes hard as concrete when packed tight, have to chisel it out the top pins of the headstock sometimes after a day

picked this up saturday

It's a Mason, they're called something else now but still the same design. Very good buckets

After 100 000kms Old man's bike is roo Ted. Some parts for selector no longer available. Other than Chinese things new quads are no longer available in Aus as major brands pulled out over government mandated rops laws. . So these things are becoming like 🎠💩 (closest emoji to a rocking horse as I could find). View attachment 1133477

At 80, it should see him out. Or else he'll have to start walking.
Electric or manual gear shift?

Its a brilliant machine, we were a bit unsure when we brought it but its exceed expectations, the only thing I would change is the joystick but that's because I'm so use to the jcb one but the new standard jcb one is the same as it now. We should have brought the belly weights for the back because it's light when picking up 4 bags of fert or 4 quads of hay but that's only because it lifts so much for a small machine. For the money, half the price of a 320s you can't go wrong
Did you try the tm220?

Didn't even try the manitou, Old man drove past it at whites, had a quick look around, rang salesman, brought it. Our old Matbro was knackered, trans wanted doing and he had money from not going on cruises during covid. Don't know as I would really have a jcb if there was a machine about that could match a 413 for size and power. The two we have will be swapped because the 411 is underpowered and the 418 is too big

I have a Terex 200, and have tried the jcb, nice enough machine but too high for a couple of sheds here. Lloyds are keen to send the manitou for a demo might have to cave in and let them 🤣

That's it against the matbro, its a few inches taller and maybe a bit more if it had the wider tyres, which I wish it had. I'd try it. its a fantastic machine, it easily out pushes and lifts a tr200 for the same size
