Which badge costs the most? do they have an Audi version for the really posh?

There both exactly the same van, same options list and even same paint options. its only the badge and price thats different. I couldn't get a decent VW price so i dealt direct with MAN truck and bus at Swindon, delivered and PDI at my local MAN truck service center.

I think/hope there will be more support/back up for the MAN as they have lots of HGV service centers around which are proper service centers not VW automotive sales garages were you take van in and it says there all day for a bulb or something silly!

The HGV centers also have there own service vans so can have to attend to HGV or van break downs within the hour at the road side while its under warranty, same as Iveco do. Not sure you would get that service with a VW or Ford etc?

My local service center has 3 x MAN TGE service vans and a 4th one on order which is a 4WD.

There cheaper than a Sprinter (cough Renault!:ROFLMAO: ) similar to a trany, only little more than a fully speced up fiat with heavy duty suspension.

Bought myself a Hilux.

Updated to 3500kgs towing
Uprated to 3500kgs gross
Rear air suspension
Night heater
2kw inverter
Work lights, strobes
Mud tyres
Hydraulic front winch

I hope it's reliable.

While we are on vans. This is mine going in the road Tuesday. 180hp 8 speed auto 3.5 tonne towing and tacho fitted. Was 6 months late due to covid. Chassis arrived in Feb but had a nightmare getting the body build due to 3 months shutdown of IVA testing and the body builders shutdown and consequent backlog.

Your going to need better springs on that going by the gap on rear wheel arch and no load!

So many things I liked or wanted to like about my iveco but it just wasnt what I hoped it would be. I think newer ones go better but I didn't feel they changed enough.
Maybe if they had gone to coil springs on front I would have had another but no a single leaf across front is poor. You might have the torsion bar option on front of that one though? Much better but I dont think its adjustable or aftermarket upgrades to increase ride height if required?

Edit actually it's a 3.5ton so it will have the single leaf spring on front as standard. Unless you ticked the torsion bar on the options list!

You can if needed move the rubber mounting blocks on standard front spring to stiffen it up and increase ride height or lower it.
Theres 3 positions for the mounts, it will be in the middle setting from factory. You move mounts closer to wheels to stiffen it or futher away to lower it and make a softer ride.

Or you can get thicker aftermarket springs like I did. 25mm instead of 22mm makes slot of difference!
Although I did snap one 25mm one once🙈💩

Yes it’s got torsion bar on the front as it’s 3.0l engine and ‘helper’ springs on the back.

This arrived around a month ago.
4m grain and fertiliser vaderstad spirit.
We built the catwalk and safety rail ourselves to make filling the seed and fertiliser hoppers easier and safer.
Drill replaces a 2007 rapid grain and fertiliser drill. Hope it goes as well. Got a biodrill coming for undersowing grass seed at the same time as sowing spring barley. View attachment 902580View attachment 902581View attachment 902582View attachment 902587View attachment 902588
Bio drill instead of the (I think) accord Hopper you had hanging on the back of the last one?

How come, that's more than any LRover isn't it?

I don't think Landrover do a 3500kgs gross vehicle from factory? Even though most can tow 3500.

SVTech do the upratings.

Cool that they badge them with the same kind of model numbers as their trucks?

What are you carrying that gives you that weight requirement?

Just stuff. Bigger 3.5ton vans carry less weight than smaller ones as there heavier before you load them. I like to stand up in van and the extra length is often handy as i dont have a trailer or license.
