New toy day

When I got it I was worried it would be unstable with silage bales but we took the loader off the loader tractor in May and it never went back on. As long as your sensible it's fine loading trailers and stacking silage 3 bales high.
That was around £28k

We did the same with a slightly bigger Kramer, so much so we never bothered a loader on the last tractor.......saved a few grand 6 months ago and never missed it. These little German loaders are so simple and manoeuvrable and very easy to drive. Makes a tractor loader seem very numb.

Only a 1600 behind ?
Do you have slopes? Wet land? Not much to do?

Edit,
Still built to give you a crook neck i see.
Nice .Looks like you could of had a bigger one ?
Probably wont be pulled by the 6499 very often more likely to be pulled by 120-140 hp. We would have plenty of fields thats steep or wet spots with drains and tryin to spread in wetter times so itl be plenty big for them reasons. Went for it over a rear discharge as will be spreadin mainly dung from a layer house which can be sloppy and the auger with beaters is best for this type of dung

Just arrived thanks to a nice grant.

250 ewe set up with weigh cells.

Delivered at time promised when ordered.

Not yet had time to set it up.

Jockey wheel seems broken already :scratchhead:

I think you would win the "most posts on new toy day " trophy............this year anyway.
About time livestock producers had decent returns to allow for reinvestment.

I just lifted it of lorry with telehandler and plonked it in a yard. Jockey wheel was not extended at the time.

Not a big investment really. After grant money it’s about 1.5k.

But will save me a lot of time moving sheep around to get them in my static pens all the time

Sorry. I was including a couple other things like solar fencing and stick reader for the £1.5k.
