I think that's ferry companies in general, isn't it? An old colleague of mine was sent to the Isle of Man in a service van. When he got to the dock the guy pulled him up because the already expensive ticket that had been booked for him was for a plain van, his was sign written. He asked what difference it made and was told it's double the price. Yep. Used red funnel a lot in the last few years as got together with a young lady from East Cowes. Managed to entice onto the big island full time at Christmas. Heading back there next weekend. Red funnel is a longer crossing and straight into city traffic the other side, but at least you can have a full meal on there.

The Plant and civils firm I worked for until recently got a job on the mainland on Hordle beach in the new forest.
. You could of fitted nearly two connects height and length wise, before needing the next ticket size. Can be real jobsworths when they want to be.
The island is great. Different way of life in alot of ways
