I would expect to see an increase of atleast 0.25% increase in bf when feeding nis. Slight reduction in yield. Increased overall milk solids. Improved dung pats. Less weight loss. This is feeding 80% grass diet. The cows eating 1.5kg nis mixed with 50%wheat gluten/ 50%wheat feed.
 
I have many customers with small £3.5, medium £5.5 and large £20k valmetal chpppers using these machines for creation of good diet materials (large machine chops and 8x4x4 bale in 4 mins) and also using machines for bedding....best thing is alll the straw in the diet is consumed by the cows and its chopped freshly on farm...
